Fassbender the Ginger
Okay guys, I’m not going to go into my whole day/night at NYFF because I would be rambling forever, but basically, Fassy is more gorgeous in person, I talked to him for two seconds and he’s really nice (and his EYES- gah!), the entire experience of being at a premiere was incredible, Fassy is way shorter in person than you’d think, and the movie was one of the greatest I’ve ever seen in my life.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who saw the ending w/ Sissy as open ended. I need to see this again.

My pics from the 6pm screening of A Dangerous Method at the New York Film Festival. No Q+A after this one, but looks like the 8.30pm gang got that treat. Kind of sad that I missed out, but glad that I at least got a glimpse of Cronenberg & Fassy in the flesh.
Thought the movie was ok - some great moments, but pacing a bit odd and I didn’t particularly care for Keira’s performance. I wasn’t entirely convinced on the chemistry between Sabine & Jung either. Would have preferred to have watched Shame but am on a plane to Chicago instead!

Okay, I know this is a silly question but does anyone know what the attire is for NYFF? Semi causal, casual, or kind of formal? I don’t want to look like a hobo. If Michael’s there I wanna be all
but in reality I’ll probably be more like..
When will you see A Dangerous Method or Shame? Or did you spend too much cash (like me) on tickets for both films?
I’m going to A Dangerous Method at 6pm on 10/5 and Shame at noon on 10/9. Hope to see some of you there! :)

A Dangerous Method: Wed, Oct. 5th, at 6pm and 8:30pm
Shame: Fri, Oct. 7th at 6pm & Sun, Oct. 9th at 12pm
